Terms and Conditions – Effective as of April 17, 2024
Description of the Program
The purpose of the Rainwalk Refer-a-Friend program (the “Program”) is to encourage and reward Rainwalk’s (“Rainwalk,” “our,” “we,” or “us”) existing pet parent customers for referring our service to your friends and family. The Program offers a $25.00 reward for each referral that meets the criteria set forth in these terms and conditions (each a “Referral”).
Our goal is to make these terms and conditions as easy as possible to understand. If you have any questions, please email our pet parent success team at: help@rainwalk.io.
The Program is available during the month of May 2024 in the 21 states in which Rainwalk pet insurance is available: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia.
To participate:
- You can earn $25.00 for each Referral – up to 4 Referrals or $100 a year.
- Send a fellow pet parent the Referral program link: https://rainwalkpetinsurance.com/referral-program/.
- We’ll ask for your name and email as the “Referrer” when they sign up.
- Referrals are open through the month of May.
- If a pet parent is a Referral and enters into a policy, we will send you a gift card within 30 days of the end of the Program.
Current and active Rainwalk customers can refer their friends and family. To qualify for the Program, here’s what you need to know:
- You must have an active Rainwalk policy and be up-to-date on premium payments.
- You must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years old
To be eligible for a $25 Referral, your friends and family must:
- Be new customers. Previous customers or adding an additional pet does not qualify for this program or as a Referral.
- Sign up using the designated landing page: https://rainwalkpetinsurance.com/referral-program/..
- Identify your name and email address in the enrollment process as the Referrer
- Be at least 18 years old
● Purchase a Rainwalk pet insurance policy.
Once the Program ends, Rainwalk will verify and validate all Referrals. If a new pet parent has purchased a policy and listed you as a Referrer, we will send you an email with your Reward in the form of a gift card or other form of reward valued at $25.00. The form of the Reward is in Rainwalk’s sole discretion.
Reservation of Rights/Disqualification
You agree that exploiting the Program or assisting others in exploiting the Program is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification from the Program. Referrers cannot refer themselves or create multiple, fictitious or fake accounts with referral. You cannot “spam” or send communications to strangers to get Referrals. If we have concerns that someone is spamming, it will make them ineligible for all Rainwalk incentive programs.
In addition, Participants may not: (i) use the Program to violate any law, infringe or violate the rights of any third party; (ii) act in a manner that is deemed unfair, disruptive, harassing, harmful, illegal, hateful, obscene or outside the spirit and intent of the Program; (iii) tamper with the Program; (iv) collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Program or associated website(s); and/or (v) use any system, bot or other device or artifice to participate or receive any benefit in the Program.
Rainwalk may prohibit a Participant from participating, revoke any Reward, or take such other action as Rainwalk deems necessary in its discretion in the Program if, in Rainwalk’s sole discretion, Rainwalk determines that such Participant is attempting to undermine the fairness, integrity or legitimate operation of the Program.
Modification or Termination of the Program
The Program is offered at the discretion of Rainwalk and Rainwalk reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the Program, these terms and conditions of participation, or any other aspect of the Program, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice to you and without incurring any obligation or liability to you.
Governing Law
Except where prohibited by law, Participants (and former Participants) agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Referral Program Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of you and Rainwalk, shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provisions (whether of the State of Delaware or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction.
LIMITATION ON DAMAGES; OTHER LIMITATIONS
PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RAINWALK BE LIABLE TO ANY REFERRER OR PARTICIPANT IN THE AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT AVAILABLE TO ANY REFERRER FOR REFERRALS UNDER THE PROGRAM IN ANY YEAR ($100.00)
Data Privacy
By participating in the Program, you agree to accept these Terms as outlined herein, and you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and consent to the Rainwalk Privacy Policy which is incorporated into and made a part of these terms and conditions.
For an explanation of Rainwalk’s practices and policies relating to the collection, use, and storage of Participant personal information, please refer to Rainwalk’s Privacy Policy contained on the website. Rainwalk and its partners, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, or service providers may use Participants’ and/or referrals’ personal information for purposes of Reward fulfillment and/or for future marketing by Rainwalk, such as to notify them of a product or promotion that Rainwalk thinks may be of interest.
