Where it all started
Rainwalk started off 3 years ago in Columbia, South Carolina with just two founding members. Committed to providing easy access to quality healthcare for pets – something we have seen done so effectively in Europe – we started to develop new ways for new pet owners to insure their pets.
Rainwalk has become one of the first companies to partner with adoption shelters by offering pet insurance at the POA (point of adoption). With just one click to enroll, pet parents can put their mind at ease knowing the newest member of their family is already insured by the time they set foot in their new home.
Now, our reach is quickly growing and we’re adding new shelters to our roster every week. As we honor our commitment to expand access to high quality veterinary care, we are also continuing to expand our team and to add states where your four-legged family members can be covered.
What makes us, us?
The Rainwalk team is made up of two types of people. Pet Lovers and Insurance Nerds. When you bring these two types of people together, you get a pet insurance company that treats your pet like our own.
We understand what it’s like to adopt a pet. We understand what it’s like to own a pet. And, unfortunately, we understand what it’s like having some big bills come up as a result of your pets.
Making sure pet owners like you can focus on giving their pet a happy, healthy, and long life without worrying about healthcare costs is what keeps us going.
